We are seeking an experienced IT Expert with strong Linux skills, some Windows skills, and comprehensive knowledge in backup and Storage solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring system
availability, while maintaining security best practices at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Provide support for Windows servers, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
- Document IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to our IT infrastructure.
Requirements: Proven experience as an IT Expert, system administrator, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration and scripting.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware ).
- Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Linux +, Red Hat Certified system administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are a plus.
