Position Summary
Were looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Team Lead to join SciPlays SciTech group our platform team that drives innovation and provides tech solutions empowering our partner teams to create the best player experiences.
Youll lead a global team of developers and QA engineers (based mainly in Ukraine), guiding both the technical direction and teams growth, while remaining actively involved in coding and solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a distributed team of developers and QA engineers.
Develop and maintain back-end services with C#,.NET, and ASP.NET Core.
Build and optimize mobile-first web apps using TypeScript, React, and JSX.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the full SDLC.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and stay updated on emerging technologies.
Requirements: 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
2+ years of proven experience in leading and managing a development team.
Strong back-end programming skills in C#,.NET, JavaScript, or Python.
Solid knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, and modern best practices.
Experience with modern version control systems (Git, Mercurial).
Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
Previous tech lead experience.
Experience with e-commerce platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, Fargate).
Familiarity with microservices (Node.js, Lambda) and containerization (Docker, Vagrant).
Background working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
