What you'll be doing
Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance SDK components that support modular application development at a global scale.
Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional R&D teams to ensure reliable SDK functionality.
Write high-quality Kotlin code with strong unit/instrumentation test coverage.
Document technical work, onboard new team members, and contribute to developer tooling to improve workflow efficiency.
Participate in defining technical strategy, refactor legacy modules, and improve architecture for scalability and performance.
Requirements: What we're looking for
Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and asynchronous programming patterns.
Proven ability to develop and maintain modular Android SDK components.
Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code with solid unit and instrumentation test coverage.
Proficiency in handling background tasks.
Solid understanding of Android internals, including AOSP documentation usage
You might also have
Experience building or maintaining Android SDKs used across multiple apps or teams
Familiarity with system or privileged apps, shell commands, or system-level permissions
Advanced Gradle skills, including Kotlin DSL and writing custom plugins
Hands-on experience with UI test frameworks like Kaspresso, Espresso, or UIAutomator
Exposure to modern Android development with Jetpack Compose and dependency injection
