What You'll Do

We're looking for an experienced Application Engineer; Youll be working as part of the Silicon One team, interacting with Cisco products groups, both on software and hardware aspects, support developing, based on Leaba architectures, the tomorrow's leading network infrastructure solutions.
Working on implementation and integration, support activities with various Cisco new generation products systems developed around the Leaba Silicon. Providing product support, troubleshooting, debug, and resolve the issues, and provide actionable data to our internal team, SW and HW.
As part of this role, you will be working very closely with both internal engineering, SW and HW, and with the products SW team to guide them throughout their system development.

* Analyze and debug next-generation Ciscos systems products with their technical issues and inquiries.
* Provide and be the centric guidance and support for Cisco engineering teams.
* Hands-on diagnose and troubleshooting, working on networking protocols for switch/router and infrastructure products.
* Work closely with Cisco System product development teams, understanding the applications the data path required and help them by bridging the knowledge on the various aspects related
* Mange and build up with our customers, hands-on debug skills and methodologies
* Transform specialized knowledge of Leaba methodology and state of the art architectures to our System Product engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Write product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Design, Architecture, Process Technology, and Silicon Engineering teams to develop new product bring-up, verification, characterization, qualification strategies and manufacturing test solutions for new High Performance Computing (HPC) products in advanced manufacturing technologies.
Verify test solutions on pre-silicon models (simulation or emulation).
Develop and validate test programs on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms in preparation for High Volume Manufacturing, working with ATE Vendor and internal cross-functional teams.
Support product sustain, including volume data analytics, test time and yield improvements, assess test escapees and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) returns, localize failures, implement containment measures in the manufacturing test flow, and partner with manufacturing, quality and reliability teams to implement root cause corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Validate test solutions on system-level platforms and prepare for mass production.
Work with hardware and software teams to evaluate functional device yield and performance across various operating conditions, characterize hardware/software interaction, and develop effective production screens to reduce Defective Parts per Million (DPPM).
Assess test escapees and RMA returns, localize failures, implement containment measures in the manufacturing test flow, and partner with manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams to implement root cause corrective actions.
