Responsibilities
Collaborate with Design, Architecture, Process Technology, and Silicon Engineering teams to develop new product bring-up, verification, characterization, qualification strategies, and manufacturing test solutions for new High Performance Computing (HPC) products in advanced manufacturing technologies.
Verify test solutions on pre-silicon models (i.e., simulation or emulation).
Develop and validate test programs on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms in preparation for High Volume Manufacturing, working with ATE Vendor and internal cross-functional teams.
Support product sustain, including volume data analytics, test time, and yield improvements. Assess test escapees and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), localize failures, implement containment measures in the manufacturing test flow, and partner with manufacturing, quality and reliability teams to implement root cause corrective actions.

What You'll Do

Youll be joining the PHY system team at Cisco Silicon One group as part of the silicon development at Cisco.

Our team deals with PHY and system aspects of the device: PHY FW, calibrations, system definitions and operations and post-silicon validation

We use latest silicon technologies and processes to build the largest scale and most complex devices at the edge of feasibility.

Responsibilities
Write product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement physics-based statistical Quality and Reliability models (ELF, TDDB, NBTI, HCI, Time zero failures, etc.) to predict silicon device failure mechanisms, degradation patterns, and lifetime behaviors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product Design-for-Reliability resilience based on product mission profile, technology node guidelines, modeling and analysis findings (e.g., SER, EMIR, PERC, HVDRC, Aging, etc.).
Extract, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of data from Silicon and Package qualification programs (e.g., HTOL, ELFR, ESD, LU, UHAST, TCT, etc.), High Volume MFG, and field returns to identify failure mechanisms, reliability trends, and opportunities for yield and quality and reliability improvement.
