Service Engineer required for installing, repairing and upgrading scientific instruments at universities and research institutes.
Requirements: We are looking for an "A-Type" that is an independent, out-of-box thinker and a team player.
Background: Electrical/ biomedical/ control engineering background (הנדסאי /ת, מהנדס /ת).
Experience with research, diagnostic, or medical instrumentation, as well as aligning lasers, repairing optical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems - an advantage.
You need to know how to read an electronic diagram and identify electronic components.
Excellent computer skills required - both hardware and software.
You need to be independent, persistent with a logical process for determining the root cause of any problem. A high level of English is required - for reading documentation and correspondence. Most of the work is performed on instruments at the customer sites around the country - therefore requiring a valid driving license. Occasional overseas travel for training/support is required.
