Responsibilities

Develop and execute test/coverage plans to verify hardware designs and reach cloud-grade quality.
Interact with software developers and system-validation platforms, as part of the verification/validation flow.
Oversee and train junior engineers and take leadership roles on large projects.
Occasional on-call responsibilities for resolving customer issues in production.

We are seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of AI solutions optimized for edge environments for Microsofts Adaptive Cloud and Azure Arc customers. This role focuses on enabling low-latency, high-performance AI workloads that run on distributed infrastructure while integrating seamlessly with cloud services and with Microsoft Foundry products.

The ideal candidate is technical, hands-on, and deeply familiar with AI systems, capable of bridging business needs with engineering execution. You will define the roadmap, partner with engineering, and ensure our products deliver real-world impact across industries such as manufacturing, retail, and IoT.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Edge AI group, you will design, develop, and maintain media encoding pipelines and live streaming workflows for both cloud and on-premises environments. You will build infrastructure, tools, and real-time monitoring systems that ensure reliable live video delivery and operational visibility. Your work will involve writing code that integrates with Azure resources and extensions, leveraging modern technology stacks and methodologies. You will be expected to break down complex problems, create clear execution plans, and take full ownership of your code from development through production. Collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team will be key, requiring strong communication skills and alignment with Microsoft values. In addition, you will automate quality control and alerting mechanisms to rapidly detect and resolve streaming issues, ensuring a seamless experience for customers streaming camera feeds and viewing live video alongside AI-driven insights.

In this role, you will conduct technical research to analyze and break down identity-based attacks observed across the threat landscape including insights from security research, real-world incidents, customer reports, and emerging trends.
