Early-Stage Industrial Automation Startup
We are looking for a hands-on VP R D / Head of Computer Vision to join an early-stage startup developing AI-based computer vision software for industrial automation and robotics.
This role reports directly to the CEO and plays a central part in shaping both the product and the R D organization. You will lead a small, talented team (currently 5 engineers, growing to ~10), remain close to the code, and personally guide architecture, development, and technical decisions.
The company works with global industrial leaders across the medical devices, defense space, automotive, and electronics sectors.
Requirements: Proven experience building and managing small, high-performing R D teams.
Strong expertise in computer vision, AI, algorithms, and software architecture.
Hands-on technical leader with the ability and motivation to code.
Experience developing software for industrial domains such as medical, defense, automotive, or electronics.
Startup mindset proactive, adaptable, and comfortable with fast-changing environments.
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
7+ years of progressive R D and technical leadership experience.
