As a Frontend Engineer Team Lead in the OS platform, youll be part of creating a platform that allows developers at Wix to build fast, reliable, and consistent back-office pages and deliver a seamless experience to users. In your day-to-day, you will:
Manage a team of experienced frontend developers, including roadmap and vision building, task prioritization, decision-making, and people management
Drive the platforms strategic direction, internally and externally, by defining its vision and identifying opportunities for growth and impact
Work within the team, providing mentorship, advice, and encouraging knowledge sharing with other teams in the group
Design complex platform architecture using a deep technical understanding of both internal and external systems
Provide scalable and widely applicable solutions for both cross-Wix and cross-platform challenges
Work closely with stakeholders across multiple Wix groups to translate requirements into clear, actionable technical plans that align with broader business goals
Requirements: Full stack engineer with 5+ years of experience in leading and implementing frontend infrastructure projects in large environments, and 2+ years of experience in team management
A platform mindset with experience building reusable, generic solutions that serve multiple teams or products
Passion for developer experience and internal tooling, with a desire to drive continuous improvement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex frontend infrastructure issues
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results in established timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a can-do positive mindset, and an ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and popular frameworks like React and Node.js
