Position Summary
The Director of Analytics and Economy for our casual games will be instrumental in building future leading hyrbid-casual games. In this role, you will be leading a skilled team capable of working with extensive datasets. By leveraging advanced statistical methods, innovative analytics, and strategic thinking, you will deliver actionable insights, tools, and solutions to drive business growth. In addition, using economic and behavioral insights, you will be responsible for setting the experience and incentive of our players from the numbers side. You will be controlling the level design, rewards and features configurations.
As a key member of the games leadership team, you will shape strategy, influence roadmaps, and foster a positive company culture. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior leadership to present impactful insights that inform critical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor team: Manage and mentor analysts, economny managers and level designers, overseeing day-to-day operations, recruiting, training, and supporting the professional and personal development of team members.
Foster a High-Performance Culture: Promote a culture of excellence, motivation, creativity, proactivity, and urgency within the team.
Deliver Actionable Insights: Ensure the team consistently produces high-quality analyses, models, insights, tools, and solutions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Collaborate with the Product team: Define the economy of new and existing games to set healthy incentives and keep the game economy balanced.
Plan and Manage A/B Testing: Oversee the end-to-end planning, methodology, tools, roadmap, and execution of A/B testing initiatives.
Improve Player Experience: Develop and validate statistical models and segmentations to enhance the player experience and optimize the overall game economy, alongside defining a conhesive level design for multiple games.
Monitor KPIs: Continuously monitor product KPIs, providing real-time insights and recommendations to the product team to ensure product health and maintain a balanced economy.
Lead Data-Driven Discussions: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly data-driven meetings with stakeholders, including senior management, to align on goals and performance.
Requirements: 4+ years of practical analytical experience in online/marketing/big data environments - mandatory
2+ years of team management experience
Past experience in Mobile Gaming in both IAA and IAP games - a major advantage
Strong SQL experience, along with a solid understanding and experience with relational DB and big-data environments
Excellent proficiency in Excel and BI tools; Tableau- advantage
Strong understanding of the statistical significance, models, and tools; An hands-on experience with Python/R- advantage
Outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and critical, business, strategic, problem-solving thinking, oral and written communication skills
An exceptional approach to data and ability to take a business question, define the analysis method and deliver a high-level output and present it in a sharp and concise way
Self-learner, multi-tasking, able to work independently, initiative, highly organized, "can-do" approach
