A global leader in advanced testing and automation solutions seeks a Hardware system Engineer. The company develops complex systems combining electronics, optics, mechanics, and software for semiconductor and precision manufacturing technologies.
Key Responsibilities: Define system requirements, lead hardware architecture, perform system integration and bring?up, design and review cable harnesses, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support NPI processes, and ensure reliable, testable, and manufacturable system -level solutions.
Ideal for a Hardware Engineer evolved into system -level ownership with hands-on experience in complex, high-performance systems.
Requirements: 7+ years of experience
Ability to generate system schematics and electrical diagrams
Ability to create cable and harness drawings
Ability to select OEM electrical components and sensors based upon requirements documentation
Experience with sensor interface systems, communications equipment and systems, controls equipment, power conditioning and electrical distribution systems
Experience with common lab bench equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Function Generators, etc)
Experience with industry standards such UL, CE, IEC, IPC, NFPA, SEMI, etc
Understanding of analog and digital signal design concepts
Familiarity with traditional manufacturing methods and processes for electronic and electromechanical assemblies
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of PCB layout experience is a plus
IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification is a plus
BSc in Electrical
