In this role, you will work with system teams and the SOC Architecture team to develop an understanding of the CPU, System on a Chip (SoC), performance metrics, benchmarks/measuring tools, and available optimization knobs. You will define methods and technologies to model performance at different accuracy levels by supporting architectural explorations and decision-making. You will correlate performance projections with measured post-silicon data.

The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

Responsibilities
Write product or system development code.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software modeling and other software tools.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Collaborate with hardware and software architecture teams, SOC Performance Modeling team, and other Google Software teams.

Proactively acts as the voice of the customer/partner and internal communities leveraging relevant insights from feedback tools and systems. Proactively identifies and/or translates customer/partner problems into industry solutions. Drives self and guides other team members to focus on customer/partner experience through efficient delivery and ensuring a seamless and connected customer experience. Anticipates, identifies, escalates, and mitigates blockers using appropriate tools. Delivers solutions in line with company methodologies, ensuring proven practices and patterns are followed. Proactively identifies and anticipates new cross-solution opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion at scale. Operates according to required operational excellence and proven practice standards throughout all sales stages/activities/tools of record. Leverages market insights and demand signals. Leads, mentors, and may assemble virtual teams using knowledge of Microsoft architectures and their context in the competitive landscape. Proactively identifies and anticipates gaps that enable solutions to scale across customers.

Leveraging knowledge of change management proven practices and/or involving the change management team, proactively helps the customer deploy for long-term organizational adoption to increase customer satisfaction and drive consumption/usage. Guides complex customers/partners towards a well-architected (e.g., secure, resilient, artificial intelligence [AI]-enabled), and cost- and performance-optimized solution to increase retention and expansion opportunities. Articulates the value of Unified and supports sellers, partnering with account teams to build consumption plans aligned with appropriate services. Provides feedback to Unified Delivery Team on VBDs to refine and further develop content.

The Azure Networking Security Research (ANSR) team is part of the Networking Security organization within Azure. Azure Networking Security is responsible for the development of several network security products, as well as for the security of Microsoft's physical and virtual production networks. As part of this mission, ANSR is charted with exposing critical security gaps in core systems across Azure (not just networking), driving Azure-wide security initiatives, and several company-wide network security objectives. The challenge of maintaining the most reliable, secure and resilient cloud is immense, and ANSR is a unique contributor, creating security excellence from within the Azure organization.

We are looking for a Principal Security Architect to work with a high-impact team of security researchers and lead cross-organizational strategic efforts. In this role, you will apply your security expertise to identify new risks, work with engineering leaders to offer solutions, drive multi-team efforts for improving Azures security posture, and communicate to senior leadership alternatives and recommendations. You will work with high-performing security researchers, translating research findings into wide impact across Azure and the entire company.

Lead security efforts in your domains and reflect the security posture and gaps to stakeholders

Define and execute annual roadmaps to mitigate security risks and design secure architectures in diverse business units

Review and assess newer complex environments, discovering security gaps and creating security control in the form of policies and other mitigations

Develop best practices and security standards for the organization

Carry out proof of concepts for the latest security tools based on security needs and your own research

Work closely with DevOps team and development teams

Research, identify, evaluate and implement the best solutions for security in Wixs production environment
Research, identify, evaluate and implement the best solutions for the platform code and services used by our developers
Work closely with development and system teams on all SDLC levels, performing security design reviews, threat modeling and penetration tests, while acting as a security mentor for developers
Investigate abnormal activity in production
Build creative tools and services to detect and solve cross-security issues
