As a frontend infrastructure engineer in Wix Studio Editor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining one of Wixs biggest and most complex platforms.

Wix Studio provides a complete development experience for building editors under Wixs umbrella.

The platform forms the foundation for Wix Studio, Editor-X, Blocks, Mobile App Builder and Editor 3.0 (in planning).Although the position is in Wixs Studio Editor, you may be called upon to provide services to any one of Wixs other Editor teams.

As an engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Building and maintaining the responsive-editor full stack application which renders generic Repluggable applications

Providing all the necessary dev tools for FED developers in order to easily develop and test cross-editor features

Working closely with FED infra teams in order to pass requirements and integrate new tools and features

Using performance profilers in order to improve the applications performance

Working closely with production & BI teams to make sure all applications are working as expected

Taking part of planning and designing the platform that hosts all of Wixs editors

As a Frontend Infrastructure Engineer at Wix Viewer, your primary responsibility is to spearhead the construction and upkeep of one of Wix's most intricate platforms. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless rendering of applications across various platforms. Your work will directly impact the entire company and its extensive user base, driving innovation, reliability, and speed in product development. In your day-to-day, youll:

Develop and maintain Wix Viewer, a versatile application supporting rendering on both server and client sides, prioritizing performance enhancements

Lead projects geared towards technological innovation, enhancing product features, and outperforming competitors in the realm of web development

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform enhancements, including Velo, Blocks, and Apps, into company-wide initiatives

Deep dive into technical discussions, scrutinizing issues and ideas to ensure comprehensive problem-solving and consideration of all relevant use cases

Engage with fellow developers, acting as a liaison to understand their needs and perspectives, to optimize platform features that best serve Wix's developer community

Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, using a wide range of web development technologies to nurture developers' potential and curiosity
