Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Summery
Performs a variety of duties in the mechanical and optical areas while using documented information and strict quality process to preforms assemblies, tests and calibrations while reporting the data in the prescribed formats.
Performs inspection, cleaning and troubleshooting of optical components with high quality standards in clean-room environment.
Primary responsibilities
Test, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate production optical components according to procedures and strict quality assurance.
Assemble optical components and sub-assemblies systems according to schematics, mechanical drawings and written procedures
Conduct optical measurements, inspection, cleaning and tests for various optic components using dedicated jigs and microscope
Work in and maintain a safe, efficient clean-room environment while assembling and testing sensitive optical components
Follow safety procedures for operating Xenon & laser-based systems and assembly procedures for delicate optical components
Preforming experiments with Eng./NPL team when implementing new product family with detailed results output and cooperation
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree/ practical in electronics, optics, or similar relevant discipline.
*relevant industry experience preferred.-minimum 2 years of
*Fine motor skills required; optical assembly experience preferred
*Must be able to read mechanical schematic diagrams
*working in lab environment with optical test equipment such as optical power meters, spectrometers, alignment cameras is an advantage
*High English communication level including writing and day to day communications via email and various companys platforms
