In this role, you will lead a group of Hardware Engineers in an innovative and fast-paced environment with a focus on infrastructure for chip design. You will also lead technical projects from the concept/planning stage through execution and closure. You will help the team deliver designs that work. You will lead chip design process improvement projects in multiple areas of expertise.

Responsibilities
Lead chip methodology Engineers to build and maintain a silicon design environment, support multi-geographic chip development teams, and also manage and mitigate support issues for tool flows.
Partner with Chip Project teams to define and standardize methodology across functional areas (e.g., Design, Design Verification, Physical Design).
Manage technical evaluations of tools for possible deployment, build and maintain relationships with partners.
Collaborate with teams across Google to identify and create opportunities for improved chip design across Google.
Participate in design reviews and track issue resolution and engage in technical and schedule trade-off discussions.

Responsibilities
Create software solutions that improve the hardware design process through automation.
Propose, design, and implement software automation that directly addresses bottlenecks in today's ASIC and SoC EDA flow.
Work directly with a hardware team on projects. Prototype and then deploy tools to make a positive impact on Google's chip hardware development process.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

You'll be part of Ciscos Silicon One team within the ASIC group, contributing to the development of next-generation networking devicesCisco Silicon One.
Work in a startup atmosphere within a stable corporation, collaborating in a design center that hosts all silicon hardware and software development disciplines on one site.

What You'll Do:

You'll join our Cisco Silicon One architecture team, which is central to silicon development at Cisco.
You will define features of future devices using the latest silicon technologies, focusing on logic design and coding.
You will also be responsible for defining the device specifications.
