Develop and refine content moderation models to filter and tackle abusive content across various products, content types and modalities.

Explore and integrate advanced technologies such as Retriever-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI to assist in the automatic labeling and classification of data.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including machine learning engineers, AI scientists, and policy experts to ensure models align with ethical standards and company policies.
Stay updated with the latest research in AI and machine learning to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into content moderation strategies.
Prepare and maintain documentation on model development, configurations, and performance metrics for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Intuit is seeking a Staff-level Senior AI Security Researcher to join AI Adversarial Robustness Research (A2RS), a multidisciplinary team focused on securing AI and GenAI models and systems.

Responsibilities

Research AI and GenAI systems from a security perspective to understand when and how they are vulnerable to a variety of threats
Blue team: Explore innovative ways to enhance the security of AI systems
Red team: Analyze the attack surface of state-of-the-art AI technologies
Center of Excellence: Collect and synthesize research literature and open-source tools to build and maintain a robust knowledge base for adversarial robustness of AI systems
Distill and share AI security knowledge within Intuit and externally through seminars, blogs, papers, and conference talks

Central Applied Science (CAS) is a research and development team, working to improve Metas products, infrastructure, and processes. We generate real-world impact through a combination of scientific rigor and methodological innovation. We are looking for research interns to join the Product Algorithms team in Central Applied Science. The team is an interdisciplinary team of quantitative scientists that aims to deliver research and innovation that fundamentally increase the magnitude of Metas successes. The ideal candidate will have extensive graduate training in computer science, machine learning, or related disciplines, and the passion to solve real world hard scientific problems. Research Scientist Intern, Central Applied Science (PhD) Responsibilities
Work with vast amounts of data, generate research questions that push the state-of-the-art, and build data-driven products.
Develop novel quantitative methods on top of Meta's unparalleled data infrastructure.
Work towards long-term ambitious research goals, while identifying intermediate milestones.
Communicate best practices in quantitative analysis to partners.
Work both independently and collaboratively with other scientists, engineers, UX researchers, and product managers to accomplish complex tasks that deliver demonstrable value.

In this role, youll research and build defenses across AI systems, agentic protocols, Identity platforms, and SaaS applications. One day you might analyze a new class of AI prompt injection attacks or Agents abuse, the next youll be hunting through data or creating novel protection mechanisms for them. Research and develop detection methods for new and advanced attack techniques - from exploits to implants. Build end-to-end PoCs, from offensive testing to scalable detection, across all our cloud and identity platforms.
Stay up to date on the latest attack trends and build strong detections across the kill chain - covering agentic AI & LLM threats, cloud and identity-based attacks.
Collaborate with multiple product and engineering teams to design the next iteration of security products, implement detection ideas and validate their effectiveness using a data-driven approach.
Collaborate with data science teams to drive ML based protections, understand, and identify detection gaps, capabilities, assumptions, and improvements
Provide cybersecurity expertise as needed during security escalations and incidents to help protect Microsoft and our customers
