Check Point's Harmony SASE is one of the fastest growing businesses in the company, delivering cutting-edge security and networking as-a-service from the cloud. Were looking for a DevOps Group Manager to lead and grow our DevOps organization, which is core to enabling rapid product innovation and highly reliable service delivery at scale.

You will manage a group of ~25 DevOps engineers across 3 teams, supporting over 250 R&D engineers and growing. The DevOps group is responsible for CI/CD infrastructure, production reliability, developer velocity, and infrastructure as code across a multi-region AWS environment.

This role requires excellent leadership, project management, and technical depth to coordinate dozens of cross-team initiatives, align priorities with R&D needs, and ensure we meet strict SLAs in production. Experience managing offshore teams is a strong advantage, as approximately one-third of the group is based in Europe.

In addition to core DevOps responsibilities, this group is also leading innovation around AI Agents that assist engineers through ChatOps and internal developer tools. This includes building the underlying infrastructure for running and managing AI Agents using the Model-Context-Protocol (MCP) design pattern. Familiarity with AI-driven tooling, developer agents, or backend systems for LLM workflows is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow a high-performing DevOps group responsible for CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and production operations
Manage multiple DevOps team leads and oversee delivery across projects and priorities
Collaborate with R&D group leaders, product managers, and security teams to align infrastructure and tooling to business needs
Own and evolve our cloud infrastructure (multi-region AWS, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Drive operational excellence and system reliability through monitoring, automation, and incident management best practices
Ensure robust deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions) and development workflows to support fast, safe, and scalable software delivery
Oversee cost management, scalability, and performance of our growing cloud footprint
Manage project portfolios, coordinate resources, and drive cross-functional execution in a fast-paced environment
Work effectively across time zones with remote and offshore team members
Lead initiatives to integrate AI Agents and ChatOps into developer workflows, leveraging MCP (Model-Context-Protocol) architecture
