We are looking for a talented and dedicated ML & Big Data Analyst who will be a part of the Core Data group.

As part of this role, you will help us process and streamline rich and complicated datasets. Will explore and validate new data sources. Be part of the data science and data engineering force creating new features for our solution.

What does the day-to-day of a ML & Big Data Analyst at Similarweb look like:

Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to turn data into insights.
Conduct research and develop tools that will ensure the quality of Similarwebs data and algorithms.
Utilize your deep understanding of Similarwebs data in order to evaluate and improve novel algorithms produced by the data scientists in your team.
Partner with Big Data Engineers to establish an infrastructure to scale solutions.

Similarweb is seeking an experienced Analyst to join its unique Data Strategy Group, tasked with pioneering a new, impactful role.

At Similarweb, our Data Strategy Group is at the heart of shaping how we handle datafrom the moment we acquire it to the innovative ways we integrate, model, utilize, and monetize it. This group is a blend of Data Product, Data Infrastructure, and Data Partnership Managers, all focused on pushing our data strategy forward.

We're on the hunt for a Product Analyst who's excited about diving into the world of data as a product. This isnt about tracking user interactions or optimizing conversion rates on our platform. Instead, its about getting into the nuts and bolts of our data flow and architecture, understanding how our data travels, transforms, and ultimately drives business impact.

In this role, you'll be key to making insightful, data-driven decisions about the data we collect, use, and sell. Youll lead projects of various sizes aimed at refining our data processes and boosting the value of our diverse and complex data product lines. It's a chance to really get into the mechanics of our data, ensuring it's leveraged to its full potential at every stagefrom collection to delivery to our customers.

Key qualifications include:

Expertise in data modeling and analysis, particularly as it applies to data products.
Strong background in managing projects from a data perspective, ensuring insights lead to actionable product enhancements.
Proficiency in data visualization techniques to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Advanced skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with BI tools and platforms for comprehensive analysis and reporting of product metrics.

Were looking for a Big Data engineer in the Data Collection Ingest team to contribute to the design and coding of Similarwebs data ingestion services. This role involves working as part of a team that handles millions of requests per minute across hundreds of servers, processing billions of events each day.

This role will report to the R&D Director of Data Collection.

As the most trusted platform for measuring online behavior, millions of people rely on Similarwebs insights daily as the ground truth for their knowledge of the digital world. Producing these insights requires large scale raw data to be ingested reliably in high scale to provide stable signals for analysis.

You will have the opportunity to perform hands-on work and own Similarwebs raw data ingestion pipeline end-to-end. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of our data and the insights our products deliver to our customers.

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the Ingest, Data Collection team means your daily responsibilities may include:

Design, code and manage end-to-end Similarwebs data ingestion pipelines, both online and offline.
Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health and data quality.
Own data infrastructure features from design to production using industry best practices with focus on quality and delivery.
Lead designs & decision-making processes of the team.
Solve diverse, complex problems of scale, performance and business logic.
Collaborate with product managers and other team leaders to plan, nurture, and implement an efficient and effective development process.
Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in the everlasting effort to perfect our products
Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback about potential improvements.
Improve your skills, learn from and mentor top-notch engineers and enrich other team members.
