Were looking for a hands-on incident response expert thats passionate about investigating real threats, building scalable detections, and improving automation across modern cloud-native environments. This is a high-impact role within our security group, ideal for someone who thrives on both investigation and building long-term solutions. In your day-to-day, youll:

Investigate complex security incidents in cloud (AWS/GCP), containerized (Kubernetes), and endpoint environments

Design and maintain detection rules and anomaly-based logic to identify emerging threats in production systems

Automate forensic evidence collection and response actions across diverse platforms and services

Collaborate with SOC analysts, Security Architects, and Engineering teams to improve detection coverage and data visibility

Lead incident retrospectives and document technical findings, response steps, and process improvements

Develop and maintain investigation playbooks, chain-of-custody protocols, and sprint-based IR deliverables

Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident readiness exercises and escalation protocols

Check Point is looking for an outstanding Senior Cloud Developer in the ThreatCloud group.

The group is responsible for building the worlds largest and most advanced Threat Prevention cloud platform called Threat Cloud - a global platform that inspects data from hundreds of millions of sources from hundreds of thousands of customers in real time, preventing threats and sharing threat intelligence.

In this position you will join a strong team of developers and will be in charge of researching and building the next generation of detection engines such as anti-phishing and web security using AI and Machine Learning, you will build an infrastructure to deliver these and other capabilities to all Check Point Products based on cutting edge cloud services and serve Billions of requests per day.

You will develop new products and capabilities in an agile manner, directly contributing to Check Points business plans and to the world's cyber security.

The group is tasked with tackling some of the worlds biggest technical and cyber security challenges, protecting the world from Malware, Phishing, Supply Chain attacks, and other advanced threats in an ever changing landscape where threat actors and adversaries do their best to avoid detection.

Key Responsibilities
Develop end to end features and cloud services in an Internet scale environment with the latest cloud technologies and methodologies.
Research & develop security engines utilizing big data, heuristics and machine learning.
Own your work end to end, from research through design to production.
Be part of a development team, collaborate with your peers and contribute ideas and knowledge.
Work together with product managers, security researchers and other product stakeholders to define requirements and support our customers.

As a Security Infra Engineer, youll design, build, and manage security aspects of our cloud-based and physical environments to ensure compliance and integrity. In your day-to-day, you will:

Design, implement, and maintain platforms for investigating and analyzing security incidents, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating remediation efforts

Design, implement, and maintain security tools and controls for cloud-based infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and services, ensuring compliance with industry standards

Build tools and scripts using Golang, Python, or Node.js

Collaborate with all infrastructure groups (cloud, networking, DB, DevEx, etc.) and the Chief Information Security Officer group (for example, for incident response)

Align with other infrastructure standards, including efficiency, reliability, and cost

Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, maintain, and manage security solutions that ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems
