Our Log Analytics team in the Israel R&D center owns the Logs scenarios in Azure Monitor.

We have a lot of challenges building services at that scale poses the biggest challenges there are in the software industry. So, we are looking for a strong software engineer to come help us build jaw-dropping logs scenarios that run in Internet scale and enterprise grade!
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer on the Log Analytics team, you will have the incredible opportunity to work on business-critical initiatives that directly contribute to the future of Azures business. You must be deeply technical and be able to ramp up in new areas quickly since your responsibilities will span all areas of Azures business as well as all layers of the cloud technology stack. Excellent design and architecture skills along with proven capabilities in planning, designing and executing high quality feature work on schedule are all key expectations of the role.

You will be responsible for technical design and implementation of solutions to difficult problems within the infrastructure which enables the success of Microsoft's services. This will require working with stakeholders across Azure to define the problem, and to research, design and develop the solution. Each project will work with a team of developers and program managers throughout the process, and you will provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring at each step.

Adhere to modern engineering principles and practices, code reviews, and project management

Take on challenges of working with well-established, large-scale systems

Engage in project planning, work prioritization, and contribute to the project's roadmap and goals

Share knowledge through mentorship and regular team interactions
