We are seeking an experienced Director of Software and Architecture to lead the software architecture and execution across our complex, multidisciplinary system. This role will report directly to the VP of R D and involve leading a talented team at the intersection of chemistry, physics, robotics, sensors, and advanced algorithms. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Software Architecture: Define, design, and lead the software architecture for a sophisticated, multi-module system, ensuring robustness, scalability, and seamless integration.
backend: Proficiency in C ++, Python, and C (for controllers), with a focus on robotic systems development. frontend: Angular, primarily used for visualization.
Team Leadership Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and guide a team of 17 engineers, including 3 teams
Requirements: - Bsc from a leading university, MSc is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Director of Software in a multidisciplinary tech environment - 7+ years.
- Deep understanding of systems involving robotics, sensors, physical processes, and complex algorithms.
- Strong system -level thinking and the ability to oversee architecture across hardware and software domains.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
